Honoring the brave and restoring confidence — one scar at a time.

We provide specialized, compassionate scar-revision services to help Veterans reclaim confidence, identity, and emotional well-being.

Who Are We?

The Veterans Scar Restoration Foundation Inc. is dedicated to delivering specialized scar care to veterans with physical scars that impair their self esteem. Our foundation offers complimentary scar revision therapy aimed at aesthetically transforming scars to a less noticeable, and in some cases, unnoticeable appearance. Established by scar revision expert Linda Dunn-Carter, LE, CPCP, who has two decades of experience in the field. The foundation acknowledges that physical scars frequently represent deeper emotional challenges. Our compassionate team of professionals is committed to enhancing both appearance and self-worth. Through a series of meticulously curated treatments, we strive to create a supportive environment for our heroes, enabling them to live their lives and reclaim their narratives while facilitating their reintegration into society with a positive sense of wholeness and empowerment.

Types Of Scars We Treat

We cordially invite veterans with various types of scars to seek an assessment through our program. While our primary focus is on scars located on the head, face, neck, scalp, arms, and hands, we are also prepared to evaluate scars in other areas, including the chest, abdomen, and legs. Our assessment process takes into account both the emotional impact of the scar and the degree of discomfort associated with the scar tissue. Treatment will be administered over a series of sessions and may extend from 6 to 18 months, depending on the severity of the condition. Should you have any uncertainties regarding the applicability of our treatments to your situation, we encourage you to click on the consultation tab for a comprehensive assessment.

Our Vision

We proudly stand as a symbol of hope for our Veterans, committed to delivering exceptional scar repair services to those who have bravely served. Recognizing that vital cosmetic needs often fall outside VA coverage, we are determined to provide the comprehensive care these heroes rightfully deserve in clinics throughout the United States. Their sacrifice demands our steady support, and we are here to honor it.

Acessible Clinic Locations

As our foundation continues to gain recognition and experience a rise in donations, we are committed to establishing scar clinics in several major cities across the United States. This initiative is to make our expert care accessible to veterans nationwide who seek our scar repair services. Our first clinic, which we aim to open by February 2026, will be located in Tampa, Florida, within Hillsborough County, and will provide unique, one-of-a-kind services designed to address all types of scars and skin-related issues.
